TamisPrivacy Policy
In short: Tamis does not collect any data. Your photos, videos and everything Tamis learns about them stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your photo library
Tamis asks for access to your photo library so it can find similar photos, screenshots, large videos and other items worth reviewing. All analysis, including similarity, image quality, labels used for search and text read from screenshots, runs on your device with Apple's on-device frameworks. Photos are never uploaded.
Results are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone so the next launch is fast. Deleting Tamis deletes them. You can also rebuild or clear them in Settings.
Tamis never deletes anything on its own. Items you remove wait in Tamis Trash, and iOS asks you to confirm before anything leaves your library.
Hidden photos
Tamis does not read your Hidden album.
Ask Tamis
Requests you type in Ask Tamis are understood on your device. They are not sent anywhere.
Purchases
Tamis Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; Tamis only receives confirmation of what you are entitled to from StoreKit on your device. We never see your payment details or Apple Account.
Children
Tamis collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
